I installed ( tomato-K26USB-1.28.RT-MIPSR2-092-Big-VPN.trx ) successfully on this router.everything is working fine other then getting bit-torrent working on this router i am following How to set up Nas, Optware, etc, FOR TOTAL NOOBS guide form tomatousb website and ran in to a little problem i have setup the hard drive like the guide said using Linux and have mounted it on the router but for some reason when i ssh in and run the

I am get this Error in ssh i am noob to this so all i can do is follow the guide i am lost what i am doing wrong ?
All i want to so is get bit-torrent working right on this router with the web gui thank you for the help in advance

No need to install optware. That firmware comes with bittorrent support built in. Just enable it.

I didn't think it was easy as just enabling it. Well I did enable it but cant get it to work right. I don't know what i am doing wrong what i am i missing when ever i try to connect i get "connection refused " i did forward the ports.

The problem is you have already tried to install optware. I noticed transmission binary path is set to optware (opt/bin). Use the built in transmission. If that fails remove optware, reset nvram and try again.

I still cant get it to work I reloaded everything and opened the ports again I reformatted the Hard drive again using Linux ext 3 and made two partition OPWARE and SWAP. The transmission binary path is set to optware (opt/bin). by default if its wrong what should it be i can set a custom path.

From memory Transmission binary path: choices (internal/optware/custom). Just set to internal.

nope still not working. is there a another version TomatoUSB i should try i just need bit torrent and file sharing everything else like the media server and ftp i can live without for now.

There are many other versions, but none have transmission built in. You have to set up everything yourself. http://tomatousb.org/mods

thx maximus for the help i am going to try it tomorrow after work will report back. One noob question can flash to the next version without re flashing it to belkin firmware then to DD-WRT and form there to the new version or is it safer to do it that way ?

Just flash from tomato administration/upgrade. Select - After flashing, erase all data in NVRAM memory.

Can Somebody please help me get Shibby's Mod Binary for Belkin F7D7301 with USB NAS/Print/ IPV6/BitTorrent Binary. E.g. Compiled & Built binary for tomato-K26USB-1.28.RT-N5x-MIPSR2-092-BT-VPN.trx.

I am a complete NooB in Linux Environment, hence seeking help if somebody can build & provide me.
