Best router to go with Tomato for extending wired coverage

I have WRT54GL (Victek's 1.23) distributing wireless through my apartment but I also need to extend wired coverage (4 ports is just not enough). I am looking for a very cheap solution which will play nicely with Tomato. I don't really need wireless on the second router but if the best solution comes as a wireless router I won't mind. 4-port router would be more than enough.
Please note that I'm not in US so getting another WRT54GL, for example, is not dead cheap here (it's 80$ actually).
I was thinking of getting WRT54G (no idea what revision it is) because it goes for like 55$ but I would like to hear more suggestions.

Why don't you just use e.g a 5-port ethernet switch?

You can use any switch or hub to expand your wired ports.

Well yeah, I can. What I'm doing is asking people for opinions. Probably some of you have a similar setup.

EDIT: Stupid me :) Got it. Switch, not router. Thanks for the suggestion. I'll go this way than.
