What are the ip address of the computers that you are trying to ping as well as the computer that you are using to ping it? Do they all have internet connection? if they do, then you should be able to ping them.

For file and printer sharing, go to www.linksys.com/kb and search for the answer id 280 for the step-by-step procedures on file and printer shaing.

    1. Make sure the windows XP firewall is turned off on all of the computers
    2. Make sure they are all set to the same workgroup.
    3. Share something on one of the computers then attempt to connect to it.
