I have a WRT54G, and my friends computer has the modem and the router hooked up and all, and I was wondering how I can get online with my computer wireless-ly from his router?

Thanks for telling me this. so your PC was connected to the router wirelessly but now since you formatted your PC's Hard disk it doesn't work?

Well, I was just wondering how I actually go along connecting the PC up the the router.. it necesarily doesn't actually work, I just wanted to know how to do it.
And yes, before I formated it was connected to the internet.

you probably need to start with loading the drivers for the network card. Check device manager (hold the windows key down and tap the pause key), click on hardware and then click device manager. what devices have exclamation marks by them? if the network adapter does, your going to need the linksys cd or download the drivers for the specific model you have. tell me if this is the problem before i go on
