I have WRT54GS v2.1 as Host connects wirelessly (WDS) to WRT54G v.4, I use dd-wrt v23 FInal VOIP for my GS (Host) and dd-wrt v23 mini Final for my G (Client). My Cable modem connects to the Host and the bandwith is 6000kbps Downlink and 1000kbps Uplink. In my Host (GS) I have 2 lan connections, 1 to my VOIP adapter (Vonage) and 1 computer running uTorrent. In my Client (G), I have my laptop connect via wireless and time to time I use Skype.

Previously in my host (GS), I use dd-wrt v.23 standard Final. After I configured WDS prior of running uTorrent, all my connection ran perfectly: no packet loss to my client router and my laptop. However, in about 1 hour my VOIP (VOnage) phone stopped working no dial tone at all until I rebooted the VOIP adapter. And I have to do this often.

So, I red in this forum and someone suggested using VOIP. Therefore, I flash VOIP version to my host, since then I have no problem with my VOIP. At this time I haven't tried to uTorrent, yet. But I am happy that my Vonage phone is working.

Now, I use uTorrent includes to my host router (GS) with the startup script that is suggested in uTorrent FAQ, my router never goes down or disconnected.

However, my client router (G) keeps losing packet every 2-3 minutes when using uTorrent. Especially, when I use Skype in my laptop the connection keeps breaking up. So, I red in this forum again and someone suggested to use Qos.

    QOS Configuration
    1st Configuration:
I set the Netmask Priority (IP address) in my host, for my
    - VOIP adapter as Primary
    - Client router and my laptop set as Express
    - PC running uTorrent as bulk
This configuration made my connection between routers lost packet every 3 minutes especially when I use VOIP.

    2nd Configuration:
I set the Netmask Priority (IP address) in my host, for my
    - VOIP adapter as Express
    - Client router and my laptop set as Primary
    - PC running uTorrent as bulk
This is configuration made my VOIP quality bad. The sound quality is bad.

    3rd Configuration:
I set the Netmask Priority (IP address) in my host, for my
    - VOIP adapter as Primary
    - Client router and my laptop set as Primary
    - PC running uTorrent as bulk
This configuration made my connection lost between routers. I have to reboot my host router to reconnect.

Do you have any suggestion what should I do? Please help me.
