    Why not use the access restrictions?
    Put all other pcs in a rule and block the bt ports.

    What do you mean put all other pcs ina rule?? Could you give me a example??
    Also bt client can change its ports even with Upnp... so it's not possible to block bt ports..
    Thanks

    Ok, i do not use bt, so i did not know.

    to your first question:

    access restriction-> create a policy
    edit list of pcs -> inlcude all pcs not allowed to use a certain port,
    and disable this service in blocked services

    If you can get RasCas' suggestion to work for that then go with that it seems simpler than trying to use this rope script. To implement the rope script you will need to add to your startup and firewall scripts. In the startup script you need to create the rope script (you could create by telneting to the router and using vi but it would be lost after a reboot) there are examples of this for creating a script for logging that people use to get the router to work with wallwatcher and other logging programs. Then add the iptables rule in the firewall script. By the way to save on lines in your startup script you only need the uncommented lines in the rope script.

    Hi sillygoose,
    Could you provide step-by-step tutorial on how to it?? That will be appreciated...

    Sorry I was wrong. I didn't realize that rope support is an addon to iptables. In order for this to work you would need to recompile your own firmware with rope support included. I was wondering why I had never heard of using this kind of script with iptables.
