Block Multicast only for wlan?

    Hi there,

I recently noticed that whenever my iptv receiver is on (i.e. receiving multicast packets) no wlan client can log in anymore. As soon as I switch off the box, it works again.

For the iptv receiver, I have to allow multicast, but I can't block those multicast packets for my wlan... This would solve this problem, as the iptv receiver is on normal (wired) lan.

I already found some iptables stuff but I need to put the devices in the right places, so that multicast isn't blocked entirely; my router is a WRT54GS.

    Iptables rules for blocking multicast:
    iptables -A INPUT -m pkttype --pkt-type broadcast -j DROP
    iptables -A INPUT -m pkttype --pkt-type multicast -j DROP

It would be great if someone could help me with this...
