blocking outgoing ports on Talisman

    Hello,

Just installed Talisman yesterday and setup Link Logger to see whats coming in and goin out of my network.

One of the outbound ports is netbios 137, I have turned it off in the access restrictions in Talisman but this appears to block incoming netbios requests. How would I block outgoing ports on Talisman???? I have two systems a MAC and a small NAS that appear to be sending netbios info outbound.

Is this a feature in Talisman???

I'm going on the info that Link Logger is saying if you see frequent outbound netbios requests, there's a good chance it could be a virus. Leave Netbios activity to you internal network and stop it from going outside. It's activity is pretty frequent... No machines have turned up any virus infections.

    Thanks,

Most of the stuff listed was nothing to be concerned about. Over at Sveasoft the word is that the access restriction should take care of this. However they said they are re-doing the access restrictions section over, maybe for version 1.1???? Have to wait and see.
