BootStrap Traffic, Something to be worried about?

    I have a WRT54G v3.1 running DD-WRT sp1 (4-13-06)...

I recently downloaded an installed a network monitoring WallWatcher.

Using this app I can monitor all incoming/outgoing traffic and I have noticed alot of trafic on the following two ports:
    67 - Bootstrap Protocol Server
    68 - Bootstrap Protocol Client

Is this normal? I understand Bootstrap has something to do with DHCP but the remote address isn't my own (i don't think). What exactly does BootStrap do? And why is it sending somuch trafic ?

I will assume you are on cable broadband. That is typical and nothing to worry about. Usually the local controller polling.

BTW, why is my ISP polling me 3-6times every minute?
