please help. I upgraded my v2 WRT54G to the dd-wrt mini firmware. with success. then i upgraded to the std vers, again with success. I then switched my wireless mode to client(i needed a ethernet bridge) then tried to connect. It wouldn't work, so i reset, and again. Then I unplugged the router, and plugged it back in, and the power led is just blinking green and wont boot. I cant ping it, access the web interface, or anything. I tried the 15/16 pin thing, but that didnt work. Please help me. there is no way im gonna go out and get another one. it wasn't even the firmware upgrade that failed. I have no clue what to do.

um, i tried each of the things that article said. If I return it under RMA, would it be okay if the sticker is broken(I tried the 15/16 pin thing)?

This could be another reason they are going to closed source firmware.

Once the sticker is broken, it voids the warrantee and you cannot return it.

well, I sent it in with the sticker broken already. We'll just have to see what happens. They wouldn't just send the broken one back, would they?
