just found out that 280-somthing is the breaking point of my wrt54gsv2. now has anyone been able to recover a wrt from the dead after overclocking the thing. i get no ping replies and does nothing else. i have just started the recovery process and just setting up a "recovery envoirnment". i did not start to short any pins but when i do hopefully it works i will post back. but if any of you guys have any suggestions other than jtag beucase i have no experience with it, suggest away :)

It's very possible that you heat damaged the CPU .. If you did then the PN junctions inside the chip have broken down and you are SOL

no you dont undestand i really messed it up. i connect even connect to the rotuer an i mean even if i set a statistic ip address this icon in the icon tray does not do anything. i tired my other computer samething it says that is it disconnected. when the router is connected to the nic and the router is on. i am connect to ln port 1. what happened it that i tried to ground the antenna on the right instead of the left this thing is a real brick. it can not get any worse.

It was Tong and Cheek. :D It will cost more than the WRT is worth for you to send it from the U.S to the U.K
