I have a bricked wrt54gl and I did the pin 11,12 short trick (MX chip not intel) to get to failsafe mode and it worked. I then tftp'd the openwrt.bin and it said transfering in octet mode and was successful. The problem however is that the router does not reboot itself and if I power down and back up I'm back to not being able to ping. I tried the 30 second resets also with no luck. Just still have a blinking power led. Anyone have any Ideas?

    Now it is different

I tried the earth to pin 15 and now have a solid power led, and wlan and lan leds show periodic activity like normal. I can ping but tftp times out and no web browser access. What next?

Try to upload original Linksys firmware.
