Bridge loses connectivity on router restart

I've got a WRT54GL as the router running Tomato 1.27, a WL-520GU running Tomato v1.27 as a wireless bridge for my DNS-321, xBox 360 & BD-Player, a Wii and 2 D-Link Print Servers. Everything is set with a static ip through the router.

Everything is rock solid. I use WPA-PSK with a huge passphrase, run up to about 10 clients, wired and wireless, besides the above, d/l'ing, torrents, etc. No issues.

Except. When I change the mac address on the WAN of the router, or reboot it, I have to restart the bridge to get it connected to the wireless again. Everything else reconnects without any problems.

Its not a big deal, but is this a characteristic of tomato, or is there a fix?

Did a search but did not find a thread on this - if its been discussed, apologies.
