Just got the WRT54GL because my WAG54G finally gave in. I am using DD-WRT v23 SP2 on it and so far it lives up to the hype.

I am now trying to use my old USR9107 as a modem only and read that bridging might be the answer. I don't want to run 2 full blown routers and would like to offload all other tasks to the WRT54 and let the USR just act as modem. There is some info here on the bridged mode of the USR: http://www.usr.com/support/9107/9107-ug/wui_internet.htm#bridging or what about MAC Encapsulated Routing (MER): http://www.usr.com/support/9107/9107-ug/wui_internet.htm#mer

Which way to go, someone please help get me on the right track
