I have a WRT54GL and my friend has a WRT54G v2.2. we both have our own cable connection, however we would like to be able to acess each others networks. I currently am running DD-WRT v23, and will soon have him running the same thing. How would i go about doing this?

    edit
we are a few rooms down from each other, and are unable to run a cable between the rooms.

are both of you currently using the wireless connection yourself? ie for laptops or whatever.
you can set one of them to be connect in client mode to the other, but wifi on the client router will no longer be available for use with laptops and such. then just add the correct routes on each router (make sure each other's internal networks are using different subnets).
