    Hey guys,

I have a Linksys WRT54GC with v1.02.8 firmware. I have it hooked up via ethernet to a desktop PC and wirelessly to a Vaio laptop. On my laptop, I recently mapped a network drive on my desktop so I can access it through the network on my laptop. The problem I'm having now is that I keep getting a BSOD every time I transfer a file from my laptop to my desktop (and vice-versa). The BSOD ONLY occurs on my laptop for some reason. Does anyone have any ideas as to how to go about fixing this?

    Thank you guys so much!

what is the BSOD your getting? easiest way to find out what it is:

write down the stop code (0x000000## where the ## are hexidecimal digits that will help find the cause of the BSOD) This will be at the bottom of the screen followed by many more digits but only that first set is what you will need.

    google the stop code,

Im guessing its probably a memory issue or driver related problem on the laptop and has nothing to do with the WRT54GC or the desktop
