I can still connect to ssh after i disabled it.

It would be also nice to have same options than telnet :
    Status
    Automatically run at startup
    Allow wireless access
(new : how many users connected, with time and ip)

For Qos : would it be possible to use only ACK and ICMP without anything else ? I dont use QoS, but those 2 are _very_ interesting.

Thanks for job already done, and for the future too :)

    in site survey :

I have : error: unable to start scan

    even before i start anything
and when i start to scan, same message.
No option available, so dunno what to do.

Yes, even if you disable ssh it continue to be available.
I agree that a conficuration as the one for telnet would be a nice idea.

The SSH Remote port is a good idea but the bad side is that to have it enabled you have to enable Remote Management that I don't like to have remote management via https or http open.

I would prefer to have SSH Remote port option as part of the SSHD configuration. One of my intended ideas having ssh is to use a tunnel to do remote management instead of https.

    Cheers

SSH settings should take affect when you reboot your router.

ACK and ICMP are part of QoS, can't be separated.

Telnet-like options for SSHD... Not in the next release.

SSHD disable not stopping immediately has been fixed and will be in the next release.

Remote SSHD has been separated for remote HTTP in the next release.

Site survey, it can happen when radio has been turned off, or possibly by other settings.

    Great fast clear answer. Thanks

For the site survey, i remember a version in which it was possible to turn on/off the radio and other option. This was great I think.
Now, when it doesnt work, it's really hard to know why.

Can't wait for the new version.
    It rules !

Found a new possible bug :

when disabling the wireless, internet connection crash

reconnect is fast, but this shouldnt happen i think.

Site Survey works here ... maybe you had a bad flash or remants of prior firmware settings in nvram variables. Did you clear nvram variables after flashing and manually reset options/parameters? Below are my results:

[Thu 19:52:20] Last Seen SSID BSSID RSSI Noise Ch Capabilities Rates
    Thu 19:52:20 hpsetup 02:00:D1:43:C8:1F -93 dBm -91 dBm 10 adhoc 1,2,5.5,11

I removed the extra controls since it just caused some confusion over what things need to be clicked. I'll see what I can do to automate the other things like radio settings in the future.

The other one seems to be unavoidable... Changing the wireless settings need a net restart which is probably what causes that.

It's not a firmware for newbies anyway :)

    thanks for the job

i'll continue to help finding some stuff to improve.

I have the same problem. I have found out, that that is because the WLAN is disabled in my WRT54G, as I don't have any WLAN devices. As soon I enable the WLAN the Site Survey scan works without that error.

In tofu11 this has worked correctly if WLAN was disabled.

IIRC there was a feature that was when you click on the SES button, it can enable or disable wireless. I don't remember if it was in a tofu release (or if it still exists), but it will be nice to have it.

it's still there, you have to disable ses first
