Bug on WAG v2

    i've tried different firmware version and even with the latest beta one, it's still there.

    The support reply that it is a faulty device so : RMA! I don't think that's the proper solution because a friend has the same problem. so i'd like you do a simple test and tell me if you have the same issue.

    In the VPN menu:
    enable the 4 options on top, in the "remote secure group" : select "ANY" (i know this is not secure, but that's not the point of this discussion ;) )
    Then enable the VPN : after a short time the connection drop: can't surf, can't msn. I must set this option to "subnet" for example so that i can have the connection back.

    Can you confirm?

    Sorry, but with this product I don't want to take any risk ! :D

    This morning after a few minutes my connection drop without any reason (Internet led off) and impossible to reconnect.

    I did then a switch off/on which killed my configuration. Only the default was there !?

    This damned product is capable to hard reset itself !

    i think that the 1.01.15 is one of the worst firmware anyway, but now that your are an expert in wag reconfiguration, i'm sure you can do the test :grin: (seriously, it will very help)

    But sorry not today...

    come on wag users: i need a feed back on that problem so that i can answer the linksys support.
