    i have a wag54g v2, hmm not sure if this is a security issue or bug but if you can read a pass from public access to me that's considered a security issue don't you think? lan user shouldn't be thought of as trusted users don't you think?

    /usr/local/bin/snmpwalk -v 1 -c public router.ofloo.net | grep pass
    HOST-RESOURCES-MIB::hrSWRunParameters.51 = STRING: "plugin pppoe user rdsl0058 password mypass nodetach usepeerdns unit 0 defaultroute mru 1492 mtu 1492 lcp-echo-interval 10 lcp-echo-failure 6 pppoe_srv_name rdsl ipparam 0 nas0"

    So if I understand you correctly you're able to get the PPPoE password from the router using SNMP?!?

    Maybe you could send Linksys an email or chat with tech support and see what they say...
