I'm trying to switch from Wireless Client Mode back to my usual DSL PPPoE connection but it appears to be broken. The log says its stuck in a PPPoE Resending... loop. Rebooting and power cycling my WRT54GS router & modem doesnt work.

I know the problem isnt the modem or my connection because if I use the "Restore Default Configuration" option it works. However if i restore my config PPPoE is broken again.

Does anybody know if I can get PPPoE working again without doing a reset? I'm using 1.23

Clear all of your configuration with the erase NVRAM function, and then enter all of your details again manually.

I thought when using wireless client mode the wireless connection became the WAN

can you use wireless bridge instead ?

    er
I just read your post properly rather than just the heading - so I realise my post does not help you - I will let it stand as maybe it can help some one else who searches.
