    Hello guys,

I am looking to get new Wi-Fi Adapter, N900.

Currently running Tomato shibby, on RT-N66U.

    I am deciding between Netgear N900 WNDA4100 and Linksys N900 AE3000.

Linksys is about $20 less expensive. (I really don't care about $20 if Netgear is better).

There is more reviews on google about Netgear then about Linksys.

So, experts, what do you say? and why? :)

    Thanks

    Hi Daky,

On Amazon.com they are pretty much the same price. I guess you've found better pricing somewhere else.

By the looks of it the Linksys has the newer model as Amazon first carried it May 1, 2012. It has only got 134 reviews however 114 out of 134 gave it a 4 or 5 starts. 90 gave it a 5 star and 25 gave it a 4 start. This averages out to 4.5 stars. This is always a buy signal for me.

The Netgear seems to be an older mode as Amazon received it January 10, 2011. It has 772 reviews however only 512 people gave it a 4 or 5 star. 389 gave it a 1 star and 123 gave it a 4 star. That gives a high approval rating from only 66% of the customers that bought versus an 85% high approval rating for the Linksys.

I like the Amazon ratings as the people seem to be from all sorts of different backgrounds. If I don't know much about an item that I'm thinking of buying and the reviews on Amazon are at 4.5 stars then I've never been disappointed after I purchased that product and in fact most times I am quite pleased.

I like my odds with Linksys. That is my 2ยข worth.

    The choice is yours.

    :)
