Can I identify a PC based on MAC, IP and Hostname together?

This is my task, i have absolutely no idea on how to go about doing it, any pointers? Many thanks.

When a PC connect to a router, the router identify it by the MAC and IP address, but now i need to throw in the Hostname into the mix, identification of a PC based on MAC, IP and Hostname together.

I telnet into a router and located a file under /tmp filename is .leases_name_ip which stores the information of the MAC IP HOSTNAME of PCs connected to it.

Without touching the source codes of the firmware, can i write a script inside the router to identify them based on the file i located .leases_name_ip and then perform a IF THEN ELSE on the file so that if the hostname doesn't match the IP or MAC then i will disconnect the connection.

I have seriously no concept of how to go about doing it, any help is appreciated.

    I am using WRT54G with DDWRT v22.
