Can New WMP54G be used to connect to WRT54GS v1?

I have a WRT54GS v1 (I think its version 1, how do I tell) and was wondering if a new WMP54G would be able to make a wireless connection to the WRT54GS wireless router?

The one difference I see is the I am using PSK on my WRT right now with a wireless card WPC54GS and I have no issues, but I am having trouble getting my WMP54G to connect. NOTE: the WMP54G doesnt have PSK, but it has PSK2. Is that the issue?

Or do I have to do something else to the PC using the WMP to connect to my WRT?

I will try that...one question. Do I install this on the PC that is using the WMP54G PC card, or is this something that gets installed onto the WRT54GS Wireless/Router?

I don't have this device; however, I would assume the WPA2 Microsoft hotfix is meant to be installed on for your PC. When in doubt, try to install on your computer as well as on your router (I doubt this).
