I am currently using two WRT54G routers in WDS mode.

I can map network drives to remote computers using the IP Address but can browse them in My Network Places.

I am using windows XP Professional SP2, and have disabled simple sharing and the firewall.

The rest of the newtork works fine. I can browse the internet, map network drives using ip address and print across wireless network.

i have tried many things without success,

    does anyone hany idea's

    thanks in advance

When setting up the other computers, did you specify a Workgroup of Domain Name? If you did this will prevent you from seeing the other computers, since they are in a different Workgroup or Domain. Do you have any other firewalls such as Firezone. I am assuming you enable File and Print sharing.

so you have 2 subnets? netbios broadcasts do not traverse subnets. you need a local dns server to resolve local IP addresses to names. or shut of dhcp and set up an lmhosts file on each pc.
