can subnetmask be changed in this firmware?

    i tried lots of times to change it and its broke the pc never got an ip from the router also tcp timeouts and udp timeouts can i change the numbers in there ? what are trackin an nat helpers if i uncheck those will the router stop workin? what is inbound layer 7 what does it do its checked right now what if i uncheck it?

    I believe the subnet mask is changeable in this firmware. Just change it via the router interface.

    To answer your question, Layer 7 filter is a QOS(quality of service) feature, that works on top of the normal port-based filtering operations. Basically, what Layer 7 attempts to do is to analyze the data packets passing through the router, and determine the program or protocol sending it based on a set of rules. Unchecking it will reduce the router's processor load, at a cost of losing this qos feature set
