Can this be done with WRT54g (v2.2) and another wl router?

I haven't been able to find a solid answer to this. If I just overlooked it, please redirect me. :)

I would like to connect this together:

Modem---Netgear MR314---WRT54G---Wireless laptop and wired desktop.

The routers can be interchanged as needed, if needed.

I have used the "Client" config to get the wired desktop to work, but that seems to leave out the wireless laptop, unless I am missing something.

    Thanks for any help.

Unfortunately you have only two options:

    1. Find out if the Netgear supports WDS. If it does then you're in business.

    2. Run a cable between the routers and leave them both in AP mode.

If you discover the Netgear supports WDS or are willing to go the wired route post back for details. ;)

    Good luck.
