    As the title says...

I have 2 Windows XP Home SP2 machines that work wirelessly, perfectly, with 2 Linksys WRT54G in WDS mode - I can ping the routers on 192.168.1.1 (& 192.168.1.2), access the routers' config pages, and ping other PCs on the network: both wired and wirelessly.

Under Linux Slackware 10.2, kernel 2.6.15.6, my machines can only do the above when wired to the router. (All machine have perfect wireless connections using ndiswrapper and access the internet.)

Similarly, the machines cannot ping each other under Linux so I am unable to network them presently.

    Any ideas?

    Solved.

I had two default networking routes under linux, one for wlan0, one for eth0. This was due to me not configuring my /etc/rc.d/rc.inet1.conf networking file to bring up my NICs properly.
