    Hi all.
I'm interested in buying a WRT54G/GS but first I would to know If anyone has already tried to integrate them in a Dlink 2100plus Wlan.
My Wlan is currently made up of 3 Dlink APs configured as bridge to multipoint with WDS enabled.
    My questions are:
Can wrt models operate with Dlink ones?
I need an AP stable, that doesn't require manual reset to recover since It would be placed in a box on my roof.
Wrt54gs with booster mode enabled scores better than WRT54G in a standard 54g wlan?
Wrt54gs presents 8MB of Flash memory while WRT54G only 4. This additional merory is useful?

    Please reply ASAP

im pretty sure it will NOT connect with dlink.. probably atheros chipset (not 100%)

afaik, broadcom will connect with only broadcom. i've tried wds'ing with dlink, no work.

works with belkin tho, and other linksys of course.

This is not a chipset problem but a specifications problem.
The detailled specifications of the WDS don't exist.
Each manufacturer implements WDS (into firmware) as it wants and consequently the products are often incompatible...
