Hi guys I'm a nyoub so this is probably a very stupid question.

WAG54S and WAG354 neither of these Routers/Gateways support WDS (right?)

Can you connect two different routers to the same ADSL line (in different rooms using differrent phone sockets) simultaneously and connect to the internet?

I will need the ethernet ports on both routers.

Is this in any way possible??

    I appreciate any help.

Anything is possible... But, It extremely improbable that you will acheive this.

Much easier to buy a wireless adapter.

    Good luck.

Andrewolu your question is not stupid !

Only Linksys is stupid because not capable to put WDS on their gateways.

The only gateway supporting WDS is the WAG54G 1.2 with 1.02.7 firmware minimum...

    Yes,

I've connected a DLink router to a WAG354G with 2 differents SSID, it works ( It was for testing wireless setting on my brother router)

I think no-one clearly understood what Andrewolu asked...

he first explained that he knew that those routers wouldn't do WDS, then he asked if it was possible to connect them to the ADSL line at the same time using 2 different phone socket...

the answer to this simple question is: NO

once one modem has synchronized with the carrier the other one can't do it anymore.

I think everyone knows that it is crazy to put two modems on the same line so the only intelligent question/answer is about WDS...

    the question he wrote is:

do you infere that he is talking about WDS or what from this?
remember he just wront one line before that he knows what WDS doesn't work...
