    Hey all,

I tried writing custom firmware and bricked my WAP54G. My power LED is lit red constantly... i can't http to it, and i can't tftp to it either.

I've seen WRT54G tricks to revive a bricked router... but i'm not sure how to do this with the WAP54G because i can't ping it or anything at .245

    any ideas?

    Thanks!
    George

could u post a pic of the motherboard. maybe you could use the pin 15/16 trick, like u would do on the wrt.

as you can tell, it is slightly different from the WRT54G... i'm not sure which chip is the flash memory, and which side of the chip is pins 15+16

if you know, could you possibly open up Paint or something and just mark where the pins are?

    Thank you so much,
    George

the top picture that you posted is the correct picture

can you maybe indicate with a dot where you think pins 15 and 16 are? which side of the chip are they on?
