    Hello All,

I am unable to reach the web site I am hosting on my machine when using the internet domain name ex. gogo.com. Without the router in place everything works fine from the web. The web site can be viewed from the internet etc. My machine is also hosting the DNS server as well. I have registered the domain name gogo.com along with the associated ns1.gogo.com which corresponds to a static ip address on my machine which get resolved properly and my web page appears in the browser. All is well.

However, when I put the router in front of the machine and set the wan ip address to the ip address given by my isp and the LAN ip in the router to 192.168.1.100 as well as setting that ip as static on the machine and updating the DNS server to reflect that new IP, I can't get to the site. However, when I use the ip address(WAN IP - from the ISP) in the url I can get to the site just fine.

Does anyone have any idea why this is?

Why can I get to my site fine using the IP address but NOT using the domain name of gogo.com?

Also, please keep in mind that everything works perfectly when there is not a router in place.

    Thanks in advance
