 I am trying to flash this wonderful work of art v6 (sarcasticly speaking) but I am getting "Upgrade are failed!". First off, I know that I should probably throw this in the toilet but I would like to use it if possible. I can ping the router and everything is functional even after flashing to latest firmware from Linksys. I tried http://linksys.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/linksys.cfg/php/enduser/std_adp.php?p_faqid=3703&lid=4013637401B10 not to mention just about everything else I have read in the forums and others as well such as http://www.scorpiontek.org/portal/content/view/27/36/. Am I missing something? Should I trying the Debricking method? Please advise

What firmware did you tried to flash? It will only work with micro sizes (you've got only 2 MB of flash).

PS: Also this forum is wonderfully full of information, AFAIK no need others (links).

I tried the micro's.. Now it's doing something else, The power light is flashing and the port light stays lit.. I am able to Telnet into it and I now see Openwrt
I tried using TFPT to flash it to dd-wrt.v23_micro_generic and get "No response". What to do?

So, now, OpenWRT is working on your router? And you wanna change it into DD-WRT (micro style :) )?

Open-WRt in it's web page (does have a web page for administration?) doesn't have an option ''Upgrade firmware''?

First thing might be to do the 30 second reset to defaults thing.
Second thing might be to read at OpenWRT how to do a software reset, and do that.
After that, perhaps try to tftp dd-wrt micro onto the v6.
