I have a WRT54G v5 router. It is used, a friend gave it to me. He did not use it. I have XP, SP2 on my computer and a dsl modem.
I powered up the router, held the reset button for 30 seconds and powered down.
I connected this router using the Linksys.com setup procedure. All went well up to
the last choice "unwire this computer". I chose exit. I thought XP would take it from there but I can't access the internet. Maybe I don't have the drivers for the
router. Can anyone help here ?

You don't need drivers to use a router. Just point your web browser to (no internet connection required) and configure the router from that web interface.

The default user is admin. Leave the password field blank by default.
