Can't access internet from lan when in routing mode

I would like to use multiple external ip addresses and have tried to change tomato to routing mode. When in routing mode I can get DNS resolved but pings just time out. If I try to ping through my router with telnet it works fine. What do I need to do to get the internet working on lan in router mode?

My dsl modem is in bridge mode with an ip address of 192.168.2.1 and I have WRT54GL running with tomato on 192.168.1.1 with mode set to routing.

Any ideas how I could pass multiple dynamic IP addresses to my Lan? I'm not sure if this can be achieved in routing mode with static routing or if it can be achieved with any other method?
