I know nothing about that DSL modem, but let me tell you how mine works.

If I let the modem take care of the PPP connection, or it can be called PPPoE, and then have the router set up as DHCP, I can get to the modem and line stats, etc.

If I set up the modem to let the router do the PPPoE, (modem in sort of a bridge mode), then I cannot access the modem directly anymore.

How do you have yours set up?

    Which one handles PPPoE?

It's my wrt54 that do the PPoE the modem is in bridge only

If i want to see the configuration page of the modem the only solution is then change the configuartion?
