Alrighty. So I've been tasked with fixing a wireless network that went down.

This WRT54G that is hopefully fixable, is having some serious problems.

    1) Only the green "Power" light and the red "Diag" light stay on.
    2) All other lights are dark.
    3) The "Tampering with or disassembling this device voids the warranty" sticker is cut.
    4) I can't seem to access this thing at all.

I'm guessing some Linux distribution was put on this thing, but I don't know which one. I just want the network back up. If I can get the original firmware on it, great!

Any ideas on what to try next???

Look in the forums for "bricked" routers. I cannot remember the actual process, but I KNOW it's in the forums somewhere.

    Best of luck,

BTW: I've installed some of the linux distro's on my router and bricked it a couple of times, had to hard reset the router... never had a problem getting it back.
