Hi, I can't get a connect to my ISP after upgrade to HyperWRT 2.0 or 2.1b1. Back to 2.0b3 and it's works fine again. After the succesfull upgrade I made the router powerless for about 30 sec. The router is reachable from browser, I can view and change all options - but not connect to my provider. Someone a idea? ________________ KleinerOnkel PS: I have the WRT54G V2.0,
I just tried the upgrade again and after flash I did a hard-reset - no way! Doesn't work with this firmware. I always get this message if I try to connect. The way back to 2.0b3 is no problem. Work the firmware in all EU countrys?
you most likely need to setup the PPPoE setting int he routers setup making it powerless does nothing. you have to do a HARD RESET. PRESS RESET BUTTON for 30 Seconds. then enter routers setup 192.168.1.1 and setup ISP connection.
I get the same message with the the last three Version (beta and final) of HyperWRT. First I get the message "Can not get IP Adcress from PPPoE server", but after perhaps half an hour the connection is established. ISP is Versatel...
hi everybody, after I installed HyperWRT 2.1b1 I couldnt connect to my WRT54G. I get no IP from DHCP anymore and my Network Connections in XP said there are problems with the connection, so I get a 169.xxx IP. I tried connecting the LAN Cable to the DSL Port, then I had Access to the web interface ?!?! what the hell ? now i have satori4.0 ... and no problems :-/ I have a WRT54G V1.1 PLEASE HELP, i wanna use the HyperWRT by the way... HyperWRT 2 final was no problem, so I wonder...
Up to now I didn't try if my wrt54g connect to my ISP after 30 min. That's no workable solution for me. Does no one know, if this is a regional problem and this firmware only works in some countrys?
once you upgrade the firmware, and a small reboot is done by the router, hard reset the firmware settings pressing the reset button for 30 seconds. release and wait until the power light stops flashing. the wrt54g/gs is now in default mode. dchp is enabled now reboot all client devices. or try to reconnect them. this should/will work if you have a basic 192.168.1.x LAN setup.
