    Hi, First post here :p

Im using WRT54GS and heres the situation.

I've got a home desktop and a laptop with wireless connectivity.

I have the internet shared when my desktop is connected to the internet, therefore I can surf the net on my laptop

The problem is, when i try to connect to the internet using (BPALogin - Australia - Telstra) on my laptop I am having trouble connecting.

Any suggestions on how to fix this?

    Thanks in advance

Need more information. Your ISP is it cable or DSL or other. How are you configuring your WRT54GS? Does it logon, is it a DHCP client or uses a fixed IP Address? Is the DHCP server on on the WRT54GS? What type of modem is it? Is a a combination router/modem or only a modem? You may be getting one AP Address from your ISP, then you have to setup your WRT54GS as a DHCP server.

How are you configuring your WRT54GS?
    - Its set at "Automatic Configuration - DHCP

Does it logon, is it a DHCP client or uses a fixed IP Address?

Is the DHCP server on on the WRT54GS?
    - Yes it is enabled

What type of modem is it? Is a a combination router/modem or only a modem?
    - The modem and router are seperate
The Router is WRT54GS and the modem is a Motorolla - Surfboard SB5100i

You may be getting one AP Address from your ISP, then you have to setup your WRT54GS as a DHCP server.
