    Running TomatoUSB v1.28.9054 MIPSR2-beta K26 USB Ext.

    After having problems with the ipkg-opt update I went ahead and followed the advice on; namely I did :

    1. If by any means you get an error working with ipkg, like :

    sh: wget: Permission denied
    An error ocurred, return value: 1.
    Collected errors:
    ipkg_download: ERROR: Command failed with return value 127: `wget -q -P /opt/ipkg-znDmt5

    or any other, just share opt and make it writable on the file sharing, go to /opt/etc/profile, and remove the following code:

    PS1="[\u@\h \W]$ "

    save and everything will be back to normal.

    Problem is I deleted all of /opt/etc/profile and I cant seem to get it right.

    Currently it holds :

    The error message I get when starting transmission is "transmission-daemon: can't resolve symbol '__libc_pthread_init'"

    Thanks in advance.

    Hey Shibby, thanks for your reply!

    I get this after making your proposed changes to the /opt/etc/profile:

    [root@Wonderland root]$ /opt/bin/transmission-daemon
    /opt/bin/transmission-daemon: can't resolve symbol '__libc_pthread_init'
    [root@Wonderland root]$ cat /opt/etc/profile
    # Bash initialization script

    PS1="[\u@\h \W]$ "

    export TERMINFO=/opt/share/terminfo

    [root@Wonderland root]$

    I also rebooted, but no go.

    Yes I have tried that versionand have currently installed transmission - 2.22-2. I still suspect the /opt/etc/profile change of having something to do with it, cause it worked well before and I cant think of anything else that I changed.

    It seems though everything else is working perfectly. I have deinstalled and reinstalled the package.

    For reference: Seems there was something wrong with the fs. I couldnt install optware on the same partition and had to move it. That worked.

    I encountered ipkg update when I install plowshare optware. As per above solution, I deleted all contents in /opt/etc/profile and save. close and reopen putty and perform ipkg update, everything is back to normal. I tested ttransmission downloading for possible problem, all went well, no issue at all.
