    Hi,

I tried for two hours last night to get WPA working on my Dell Latitude D600 with the built-in Intel PRO/Wireless 2100 3a PCI card. I tried every WPA mode available on both the router and the NIC. I made sure both the router and card were on the same frequency and using the same WPA mode each time I switched it.

Has anyone had any success with this configuration? Am I missing something?

    Thanks in advance!
    Brian

    windows update

If you are using windows XP try to get something called "Windows XP Support Patch for Wi-Fi Protected Access" from M$ site. It helped with my notebook.

    Try this link:

    http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;893357

Do not install it if you are using WEP. If you switch back de-install it. Also see if there is is an updated driver for your Intel Proset 2100 3a PCI card. The latest version is 3.03 dated 12/04/2004. Make certain the keys you input are the same.
