i have the WRT54G with the latest SeaSoft 2..00.8.7sv pre 1 and with this and also the stock linksys software, i cant ping and probably anything else, from the wireless to the wired net. i am using static IPs. From the wireless device i get 'route not found" when i try to ping a computer on the wired lan. The computer i am trying to ping is in the wireless device's hosts file. Wireless device is 192.168.1.2 and wired computer is 192.168.1.6. Everything goes through the WRT54G. i have DHCP turned off (since i am not using it). What the heck am i missing here?

There is a feature called loopback in newer firmware in the management section of sveasofts firmware. if it is enabled you cannot ping the other PCs in the lan.

I dont know however if 2..00.8.7sv has this feature or not. perhaps sveasoft could give you a command to disable it from telent?
