Can't play WoW over WRT54GC wireless

I just bought WoW the other day and ever since I started playing I've noticed a HUGE problem. I can login and connect for about 30 seconds but after that my ping will shoot up to between 1500-18000ms. I set up port forwarding in the router just like I was instructed to and I disabled the security features I had but I still get the problem.
The really odd thing is that when I plug my computer directly into the router, I get no problem whatsoever, so it has to be the wireless function. I'm pretty sure it's not my wireless card as I've tested the problem with both my laptop and desktop and get the same issue. Any ideas?

I remember someone saying disabling 'filter multicast' in firewall settings helped him get rid of lag issues he was having with WoW. Filter multicast is supposed to be a good thing but you may want to give this a try...

Experiment with setting your Wireless Channel to a different channel.

You could be getting interference from some other wireless devices near your home, or someone else could be using the same frequencies, etc.

    Try 1 - 3 - 5 - 7 - 9
    if that is all crap, then try 2 - 4 - 6 - 8 - 10

Seen this fix a number of issues...

No luck on either suggestions, it's still doing it.

    Got it working

Problem solved. Called up linksys and spent a good hour revamping the advanced settings to keep packets flowing and the connection alive. Pain in the ass...

Care to give details on what settings needed changing? It might help the next person in your situation.
