Can't setup BEFSX41 after firmware update

Hello, yesterday I noticed my BEFSX41 was using an old firmware version from 2003 (1.45.3), so I updated it to the latest version (1.52.10).

The update went fine, but setting up the router again fails. I have a CD with a setup wizard... first the computer has to be connected directly to the modem to get the setup information, then the router has to be connected between the computer and modem, so the setup wizard can fill the correct information into the router. At that point I get a message telling me that the router cannot be found and I have to make sure that everything is connected properly or I have to reset the router.

Everything is connected properly (like it has for 3 years now) and resetting the router doesn't help either. I can get into the router just fine by going to http://192.168.1.1

I also did an ipconfig /all and filled in all the information into the router manually, but it still won't connect.

The firmware was downloaded from the Linksys website:

Does anybody know how to solve this?

    Thanks.
