Captive Portal issue... SSL sites don't trigger login page

    I'm running Tomato Firmware v1.28.7486 MIPSR2-Toastman-RT K26 USB VPN+NOCAT

If I attempt to go to a HTTPS (SSL) site, I get a page cannot be displayed in IE8. The NoCatSplash login page shows up if I go to a normal HTTP web site.

Is there a way for a HTTPS site to redirect to the Captive Portal page?

I also noticed Captive Portal keeps crashing. Not seeing anything in the logs but the process isn't running.

I created a scheduler to restart it every 30 minutes. Anyone seen this?

I moved the nocat.leases file and nocat.log file to /jffs and splashd has been running for 12hrs now. I'm still going to put a crontab to restart it every hour but this seems to have fixed it.

Still won't redirect you to the Captive Portal if you first go to a httpS:// site. Any ideas on this??
