I use this paywall chrome extension https://github.com/njuljsong/wsjUnblock over multiple devices and was wondering if there would be an way to use a firewall script instead so I can have it applied over all devices within my LAN.

Basically, I need to change the referer headers and block cookies for certain sites. Thanks for all your help!

While the firewall ( iptables ) would be used to redirect web traffic, a proxy server is what would handle altering the HTTP traffic itself. I run squid as a transparent proxy for my LAN, although I've compiled a newer version tailored to what I need, there's a package version in the opt/entware repo that would get you up an going.
