    Hello everybody!
    I have new Linksys E1500.
Before flash Shippy 114,I Set my computer IP Address manually to 192.168.8.1 and set netmask to 255.255.255.0
    I flash "tomato-E1500-NVRAM64K-1.28.RT-N5x-MIPSR2-114-Max.bin" successfull.
But I want to change router address 192.168.1.1 to 192.168.8.1 in Shibby 114. I can't change it
Because my modem Vigor 120 address 192.168.1.1
    Help me change it.
    Thank a lot

p/s: My English is second language. It's bad
I can choose Shippy 114 or Shippy 115( one is best)

disconnect all utp cables from the E1500 and power it up.
set your computer to 192.168.1.10 mask 255.255.255.0, gateway is not important.
connect the only your computer to the E1500 at 192.168.1.1.
login into the router and set ip to 192.168.8.1 mask 255.255.255.0, save, the router will reboot
don't wait on the reboot and disconnect the utp cable from the router.
set your computer to 192.168.8.10 mask 255.255.255.0, gateway is not important.
connect the only your computer to the E1500 at 192.168.8.1.

The field "Router Modem IP" isn't your router ip. With that inputfield you can make a routing to your modem if you have one before your router. The IP adress from your router you must change under "LAN" the IP adress on the left is the Router IP (green Circle).

When you update the router address as shown by Larix, you have to click an "OK" button in that section/area before you can then click "save" at the bottom of the page.
