I have a Wireless-G router with speed booster. I used a program from linksys on line called Netset. It configured everything beautifully except for one thing......I never changed the default password on the router. At this point I dont know where the CD for the router is. How does one change the router password without the CD?

You can always configure the router without any setup software or CD.

Logon to the router at its IP address on the local network from your Internet browser (IE, Firefox, etc). The default IP is and when prompted, enter the default password admin; there is no username.

Once you are logged on to your router, you can proceed to changing the admin password.
