Is it possible to configure a wrt54 router as a bridge so that it can be installed in a wired LAN and used as a cheap bandwith shaper for all LAN traffic? (don't want to change my ADSL router) The units seem cheap and do not consume much power and look a better cost effective solution than using PC based harware with software such as m0n0wall. Now that IPP2P and other modules are included from Sveasoft and others I would like to use a wrt54 simply to shape/throttle my LAN traffic and don't care about WLAN function. No one seems to have put any info on this scenario yet. Look forward to hearing from the experts on whether this can be done. If it can I shall be placing an order for a WRT54G. regards Peter.
