Anyone know what this error indicates?

    Jun 13 14:41:39 WRT54G-v20 user.err kernel: CIFS VFS: cifs_mount failed w/return code = -6

I can access the share from a XP and Ubuntu client so I know the share name, username and password are correct.

    The share is
    \\172.16.0.20\Storage\WRT54G

    Thanks

error -6 is "No such device or address" which could mean also that directory permissions configured incorrectly and/or Upper/Lower Case in UNC path.

    Hi,

i got the following Error from my WRT54G when i try to mount 192.168.1.148/Pub

    Error mounting CIFS 1.

    so that means "invalid domain"

so what i must do to mount that correctly.

I have a share and a user setup on my XP tower (P4) I also verified the permissions to ensure that the user had access to the folder.
