    I'm running hyperwrt +thibor 15c. I'm wondering if there is any way to may the cisco button glow orange when the wireless is enabled, and turn off when it's disabled.

    I already have SES disabled.

    You couldn't have asked for an easier to find answer. Go the thibor's project page and you'll find it http://www.thibor.co.uk/#led. Have a look around as there is lots of good info.

    Ah! Thanks! I lost the link to the main site and haven't been able to find it since. Guess I should have bookmarked it.

    The only thing is I have will have to learn how to write the script to do it.. Ah well, can't have everything done for you!

    The script is right on the page, just copy it to rc_startup, save reboot and its running.

    long reply.. sigh..

    anyway, the script on the page is diffrent than what i want to do. I want the cisco button to stay lit orange as long as wireless is enabled. not flash or change to white indicating activity.

    just orange when enabled, off when disabled.

    Try this:
    Code:
    #!/bin/sh
    I=`nvram get wl0_ifname`
    while sleep 1; do
    if [ "`wl assoclist`" != "" ]; then
       LED="am on wh of"
    else
       LED="am of wh of"
    fi
    if [ "$LED" != "$PLED" ]; then
    led $LED
    PLED=$LED
    fi
    done
    This will give you the amber LED like you want. I just tested it on my WRTSL54GS.

    so the above will light up the LED only when someone is connected wireless or when wireless is enabled? If not how would that be done? I want to know if someone is connected wireless to router by seeing if LED is on. Right now I use the flashing script when activity is present. Thanks!

    The cisco button will turn amber when a wireless client is connected via wl assoclist command. If no associated clients the button will not be lit. There is no flashing its either on or off.
